How does the treatment take place?
During the consultation, your therapist will choose the perfect color and shape that suits your face. Before starting treatment, anesthesia is performed to minimize discomfort. The pigment is applied incrementally with special tools, and creates the effect of natural, powdered brows. After the treatment, there may be a slight redness on the brows, which disappears within a few hours.

Contraindications:
Contraindications for permanent makeup for the lips:
- active herpes or other viral infections.

After the treatment
After your PMU treatment, the healing process starts immediately and typically lasts about 5 days. During this period, the skin will regenerate, and excess pigment will gradually decrease. It is quite normal to experience dryness or slight scaling in the treated area – this usually disappears by itself after a few days.
We recommend the following aftercare:
- Clean the lips gently with a cotton pad 3 times on the day of treatment
- Avoid makeup and soap on the lips until the skin has healed and the crust has fallen off
- Do not scratch, peel or rub in the treated area
- Apply cream or vaseline for up to 5 days after treatment (4–6 times daily)
- Avoid swimming pool, sauna and solarium for 8–10 days
- Wait 3–4 days of intensive training and sports
- Protect your lips from the sun – especially during the healing period
- Proper aftercare is important to achieve the best and most durable result.
What is herpes?
Herpes is a widespread virus that many people have in their bodies without noticing it. It often lies dormant, but can become active due to, for example, stress, reduced immune system or irritation of the skin. An eruption appears as small fluid-filled blisters around the lips, which can later become sores.
Can I get herpes if I’ve never had it before? If you haven’t experienced herpes before, the risk is small – but it can’t be ruled out completely. Permanent makeup involves a superficial impact on the skin, which in rare cases can activate a virus that is already in the body without previous symptoms.
Here’s how to prepare yourself and reduce the risk of herpes:
- Start antiviral medication (e.g. Acyclovir or Valtrex) 1 day before treatment – in consultation with your doctor
- Support your immune system by resting, reducing stress, drinking plenty of water and taking vitamins
- Continue with antiviral therapy for 3–5 days after the procedure
- Do not tamper with or remove crusts as it may interfere with healing and affect the color result
